Builder and the Wrecking Ball
How can one thing be both the builder AND the wrecking ball? He would have to be the Almighty One. Only God can completely destroy your life and rebuild a new one. That is what I hope for. I want Him to completely destroy the life I live to know as my own and rebuild it full of Him. Less of me and more of Him. Take out every ounce of life in me that I had anything to do with and fill those gaping canyons with God. The life I live is not my own...I was bought at a price. The ultimate price.

The Old is gone and the New has come. Surrender is a beautiful thing. When we surrender to God, the Holy Spirit comes and fills us, and continually makes us more Christlike. I'm so excited to hear that!

know the feeling! think i recently underwent some serious demolition and now is time to survey the scene and see what He will build out of the rubble! exciting times! its cool to see someone else goin thru some similar stuff with God! (got to ur blog via daveos... so im not a completely random blogger although i guess i might as wee be :D anyway i'm gonna shut up now... c ya!)

Cool imagery... it's truely amazing how God always knows what is best for us and yet I find myself baffled because I always seem to have my best suggestion before God... like, God why can't you do this, or why can't this be like this... but it's that factor that I don't really know what's best for me that keeps me relying on God for that wisdom and guidance... remembering that God is good and I need to be humble.
Ya... like that's so true. I like try and like do that like all the time.
